  JOB SUMMARY: 

Provides prompt, courteous beverage service to guests, while following all Department Service Standards and Bar Policies

 KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ensures the bar is stocked with all supplies and liquor.  Calculates ending inventories each month. Provides fast, efficient, courteous and professional service.  Adheres to department policies on number of orders and drinks to be served at one time Prepares drinks according to prescribed recipes. Rings in all prepared drinks on register, following established procedures. Accounts for assigned bank, all money received and all transactions recorded during shift. Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions. Keeps informed of new promotional beverage programs. Reads and initials all posted department memos. Familiarizes self with food menu and preparation times so that correct information is given to guests. Familiarizes self with, and adheres to, the principles of excellent guest service and interactive skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

High School graduate preferred  At least 2 years of prior fine dining bar experience as a bartender and use of POS systems

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age Literacy and fluency in English Above average communication and interactive skills Excellent guest service skills Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.  Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

 PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Ability to carry orders and lift trays weighing up to 60 lbs Mobility to move around the station quickly Ability to stand for 8 hours Ability to grasp, finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination Ability to hear and use visual inspection Ability to bend, squat, reach and climb stairs Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.  Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
