THE JOB:

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages to our guests with speed, accuracy, and flair. You will work in one of the busiest and most exciting venues in the casino, where your ability to stay composed under pressure and your passion for customer service will be key to your success.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available.Manage a high-volume bar area, maintaining speed and efficiency during peak hours.Collect payment and follow all cash handling and variance procedures. Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending.Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar.Provide food service as needed.Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar.Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management.Notify supervisor and Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Must be at least 21 years of age.Currently has a TAM card, Food Handler's card, Union Pour card, and Sheriff's card or has the ability to obtain all cards.Previous bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume bar setting.Prior experience with cash handling and other types of payment collection using a POS system.Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.Ability to be standing for long periods of time.Takes pride in their work, can multi-task and describes themselves as detail oriented.Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.

THE STARTING PAY:

$17.28 per hour + potential tips

THE SCHEDULE:

On-Call. Must be able to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays.
