Responsibilities:\n\nGrow the department's volume of Controls business with the sale of JCI and Honeywell Direct Digital Control systems.\nPlan and specification bidding for building automation opportunities.\nCultivation of bidding opportunities with medium and large mechanical contractors without controls groups in their business model.\nWorks to develop trust and alignment with Service and Construction Sales teams. Be a bridge between departments and will be a key person to BUILD the business.\nCultivation of new and existing customer in the owner direct market.\nDevelop department branding and controls sales opportunities within the Service customer base.\nAssist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies.\nWork with the BAS design team to develop Controls estimates.\nResponsible for quotes to the customers and the presentations thereof.\nResponsible for obtaining vendor quotes for sub-contractors.\nWork with Moore's pre-construction estimators when required.\n\n
Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nThorough knowledge of the BAS\/Controls trade a plus\nSales and estimating experience preferred\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal\nWorks well with individuals at all levels of the business\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task\nHighly analytical and detail-oriented\nExcellent computer skills including email etiquette, scheduling software, Microsoft products, etc.\nMust have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation\n\n
