ROLE DESCRIPTION
• The HR Coordinator is ultimately responsible for all HR-related activities in a clearly defined set of vessels (operation).
• Moreover, the HR Coordinator is the core HR partner to the Senior Officers onboard of the ships within the Operation Area and acts as an adviser in HR-related matters.
• The HR Coordinator reports to the Director of Human Resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer the fleet-wide planning of key roles (with the “Tour Director” in focus)
• Be the first point of contact for freelancers working in land-based positions
• Manage the payment processing for freelancers and coordinate between HR and Finance
• Act as employee relations agent for assigned area to ensure compliance
• Control staff satisfaction and initiate action to improve in coordination with operations
• Support responsible Operation Managers with deployment of management positions
• Coordinate staff planning process at beginning of season together with Core Team
• Coordinate employee performance review activities in area
• Support the onboard management with the HR administration
• Support the recruiting team with recruiting events
• Support the trainings department during the Season Start Training
• Conduct location visits to support the Tour Directors
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluency in English (written and verbal), German or any other language is an advantage
• Excellent computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel), administrative experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, service-oriented and guest focused
• International experience / experience on a ship is an asset
• Positive personality, organized, flexible, team player, creative, stress resistant and resilient
