ROLE DESCRIPTION 
As a core team member, this role will be responsible for maintaining IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing risks, and aligning IT activities with business objectives. The IT Governance Analyst will focus on day-to-day follow-ups with stakeholders, ensuring control objectives are met, and supporting the ongoing maintenance of IT governance practices.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies.
•    Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing strategies to mitigate identified risks.
•    Participate in audits related to IT governance and compliance.
•    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT governance.
•    Prepare and present reports on IT performance, compliance status, and risk management to senior management and stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with various departments to align IT activities with business objectives.
•    Conduct training sessions to educate employees on IT governance policies and best practices.
•    Promote awareness of IT governance and its importance across the organization.
•    Identify opportunities for improving IT governance practices and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
•    Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure contracts and service agreements align with the organization’s IT governance policies and objectives.
•    Follow up with stakeholders to ensure that control objectives are being acted upon and met.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
•    Ability to manage time effectively in a changing environment.
•    Strong conceptual and logical abilities, as well as strong planning and project management skills.
•    Ability to focus on stakeholder requirements. Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
