ROLE DESCRIPTION 
•    As a leader within the IT Governance team, this role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing risks, and aligning IT activities with business objectives.
•     A key focus for the Senior Manager, IT Governance will be leading the implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow as the tool used for IT governance. 
•    This role will closely work with various departments to promote a culture of effective IT governance across the organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Lead the IT Governance team.
•    Lead the implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow, ensuring it effectively supports IT governance processes.
•    Develop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks based on industry standards such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 38500.
•    Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies.
•    Conduct and oversee risk assessments, developing strategies to mitigate identified risks.
•    Lead and manage audits related to IT governance and compliance.
•    Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT governance.
•    Prepare and present comprehensive reports on IT performance, compliance status, and risk management to senior management and stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with various departments to align IT activities with business objectives.
•    Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on IT governance policies and best practices.
•    Promote awareness and understanding of IT governance across the organization.
•    Identify opportunities for improving IT governance practices and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
•    Provide guidance and support to IT Governance Analysts in their day-to-day responsibilities.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
•    Excellent leadership and team management skills.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
•    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
•    Proven ability to manage time effectively in a changing environment.
•    Strong conceptual and logical abilities, as well as strong planning and project management skills.
•    Extensive experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
•    Experience with the implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow.
•    Experience managing a team of system administrators, developers, and QA analysts.
•    Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
