**All Job Postings will close at 12:01 a.m. CT on the specified Closing Date (if designated).** **Working Title:** Basic Needs Coordinator - MnSCU Academic Prof 1 **Institution:** Saint Paul College **Classification Title:** MnSCU Academic Professional 1 **Bargaining Unit / Union:** 214: Minnesota Association of Professional Employees **City:** St. Paul **FLSA:** Non Job Exempt **Full Time / Part Time:** Full time **Employment Condition:** Unclassified - Limited Academic (Fixed Term) **Salary Range:** $23.63 - $34.18 **Job Description** **Job Summary:** Working closely with the Director of Student Life and Diversity, the Basic Needs Coordinator will lead culturally responsive programming and services as they related to student basic needs on campus. This includes management of the Campus Food Pantry, SNAP E&T program, and basic needs referral process. Coordinator will also oversee comprehensive basic needs assessment including usage, service satisfaction and impact on student success and retention , and provide leadership around programming and resources to educate the campus community regarding addressing basic need insecurities among Saint Paul College Students. **Job Duties:** + THRIVE - SNAP E&T Program Development and Administration. + Manage Campus Food Pantry and Basic Needs Supports. + Engage in comprehensive assessment, evaluation, and program improvement by regularly tracking, communicating, and reporting relevant data; integrate feedback into program operations; and develop and review key performance indicators to reduce students’ basic needs barriers. + Communicate, increase awareness, and advocate for students’ basic needs to a range of audiences both on campus and in the community. + Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR 1-year related experience responding to basic needs insecurity. + Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, religious, gender identity, sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of college students, staff, and faculty. + Knowledge of community programs, resources related to basic needs support. + Effective written and verbal communication skills sufficient to participate in discussions and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. + Experience using computers and software in a Windows environment. + Ability to track data in an organized and accurate manner and report it. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 2 years of grant management experience. + Master’s Degree in a relevant field. + Experience working in an urban community college. + Experience in training, coaching/counseling or outreach activities. + 2 years of experience working with diverse populations on a college campus. **Other Requirements** All resumes must clearly address the Required Qualifications as stated above.
