**Batch Compounder - 3rd Shift** Laboratory Pomona, CA, US Pay Rate Low: 20 | Pay Rate High: 27 + Added - 17/04/2025 Apply for Job Our client, a leading manufacturer in the cosmetics industry, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Compounder to support batch production in a cGMP-regulated environment. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying raw materials, following manufacturing instructions, and ensuring product quality and safety throughout the compounding process. **Location:** Pomona, California **Terms:** Contract-to-hire **Pay:** $20/hr-$30/hr **Responsibilities** + Verify and prepare raw materials and pre-weighed chemicals prior to batching. + Read and understand batch cards and follow all instructions precisely. + Set up and sanitize equipment in preparation for compounding. + Mix batches according to specifications and monitor throughout the process. + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed. + Sample batches and support quality approvals. + Transfer completed batches to final containers after Quality approval. + Follow alcohol room procedures and support batching with flammable materials. + Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with housekeeping standards. + Assist with drum/equipment sanitization and cross-train in other manufacturing tasks. + Participate in new and pilot batch processes as assigned. + Perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + 2+ years of compounding or batch processing experience preferred. + Basic math skills and ability to read/write in English. + Familiarity with chemical handling and safety procedures. + Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification a plus). + Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. + Physically able to lift 55 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform tasks involving bending, twisting, pushing, and climbing. + Must be reliable with a strong attendance record and a self-starting attitude.
