Our client, a company that manufactures and distributes personal care products is looking to hire a Batch Maker for their location in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will need to exhibit the ability to learn and apply new skills; and keep abreast of current developments. Responsibilities include ensuring the batch record provided is complete and accurate for the particular batch.

The Day-to-Day:

Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) during production.Prepare batch as per instructions and complete batch record during production.Controls raw materials by advising the Supply Chain of product requirements; receiving and verifying orders; and recording raw materials usage.Clean and prepare equipment for production.Prepares product for the next process by unloading and storing the finished batch.Maintains quality standards by verifying the weight and contents of raw materials; and documenting all process events.Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes.Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaAssociate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or five-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Forklift CertificationBilingual preferred, English and SpanishAbility to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developmentsExperience in troubleshooting technological problemsAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerMust have a working knowledge of computer and Microsoft ExcelAttention to detail and multitasking are must

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$18.00 - $20.00Monday to Friday7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
