We have the following shifts available:
Evening Shifts (includes a shift differential), 4p-230a, Mon-Thurs. Training will take place on day or evening shift during the week before transitioning to your scheduled shift. Holidays, weekends, and OT may be required as needed.
As a Production Operator for Batch Maker, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Key Responsibilities
Employees will operate one of several automated pieces of equipment to mix or blend paints or chemicals according to specifications
Weigh or measure ingredients to exactly match the requirements of the chemical or paint formulation
Monitor the mixing process to ensure even flow of materials in the equipment and proper blending
Document and record activities and contents of each batch and quantities used, as needed
Collect and test samples of each batch for quality control, as needed
Work is typically fast paced in nature
Work is conducive to people that enjoy working on a team
Work environment is indoors/factory environment but not air conditioned in the summer; environment is heated during the winter
Flame-retardant uniforms, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, and Hearing protection are required and provided
You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
Must be clean shaven to wear required respirator
Experience in hazardous materials, chemical and/or color hits required
Ability to work any job, and work overtime as needed
