CGI's EDR2 Project is seeking individuals who are looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced team implementing mission-critical systems. If you are a Batch Operations Analyst with experience working on enterprise-scale, multi-tiered, multi-platform, integrated systems; possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong work ethic that takes full ownership of the team’s workload; are responsive to requests for assistance; and have the ability to effectively work with other teams, then this might be the role for you.
As a partner of the EDR2 Project’s Production Operations team, the Batch Operations Analyst is responsible for day-to-day operational support activities including batch job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and restarts; data fixes; performance and availability monitoring; Unix scripting; and participation in incident triage and resolution.
• Planning for Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Special Batch Cycles
• Developing and testing Test and Production batch schedules
• Executing batch cycles using IBM Workload Scheduler
• Executing special Scripts and Manual Jobs
• Monitoring batch cycles and responding to abends and other issues
• Validating execution results and generating operational reports
• Updating related documentation and schedules
• Participating in major incident triage and resolution and in production cutover activities
• 3 – 5 years of working knowledge and experience in: IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS) or equivalent batch scheduling tools ETL processing and batch processing At least one major RDBMS – SQL Server, DB2, Oracle Unix scripting and Unix operating systems
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in real time
• Availability for shift work, specifically night and weekend hours
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with client and internal team partners
Minimum Education Required: Associate Degree
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required
• Experience working in a 24x7 operational environment
• Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management
• Familiarity with: multi-tiered system architecture and network connectivity IBM MQ IBM
DataStage IBM WebSphere Application Server Red Hat ActiveMQ (AMQ) JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) JBoss OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) AppDynamics

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $54,200 - $94,900."
