The Batch Operator is responsible for running the batching computer for the Effingham Premix operation.

Job DescriptionSequencing the clean outs for the shiftsSequencing the daily mixing for the shiftOperating batching computerWeighing and sorting ingredients for productsUnderstanding and using the Oracle System as well as other databasesEnsuring the correct hand ads are put in the right productsReading all comments on batch mixing instruction (BMI)Checking the micro card located on each micro tub and checking for accuracyMaking sure the proper micro tubs are placed by the correct mixer for cut-inAssist with dumping ingredients during cut-inEnsure Micro bins remain full.Report bin empty eventsForward looking ensuring all ingredients are gathered for hand add so lines run continuous.Following all batching procedures as outlined in the SOP- P105Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalentDetailed oriented and has proven computer efficiencyBasic math and reading skillsMust have proficiency in all areas of mixing, micro room, and cut-inADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
