Summary of the Position:

The Battery Operator utilizes the battery cart to change and charge batteries. The person in this position maintains the battery room, and ensures it is cleaned and organized. The Battery Operator keeps necessary PPE ready and available.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize a battery cart to change/charge forklift batteries. Ensure proper water amount is on batteries. Documents when batteries have been wateredMaintain a clean work area Perforce other duties as assignedI Supervisory Responsibility:
