Job Description

Our client is looking a Battery Technician.  The Battery Shop Technician is responsible for the testing, charging and maintaining Aircraft Lead Acid and Ni-Cad Batteries per specifications and maintaining logs in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Transport Canada (TCCA) requirements.

Qualifications

Your challenges:

Ability to safely use different types of electrical measurement equipment (ex. multimeter

Ability to safely use different types of charging equipment

Safe use of various electrical measuring techniques used to validate conformance to requirements

Your boarding pass:

High School diploma or equivalent

Trade Schools

Minimum five (5) years of relative experience (detailed apprenticeship or trade school certification plus experience can be substituted for years of experience).
