As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries. **Responsibilities** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** : 1. Control the operation of the banbury extruder to keep materials (banbury mix or adhesive) extruding at sufficient volume to allow continuous operation of the banbury. (Keep material out to prevent “back-ups” and losses in production). 2. As required, depending on product: If producing: 1. Banbury Mix- upon exit of material from extruder, thread material through water bath over powered wheel to feed the weigh scale, weigh material and cut to specified weight and put material into pans or into carts as required. 2. Adhesive- upon exit of material from extruder, start material onto conveyor belts, follow-up closely to assure belts are at the proper speed and readiness to accept the adhesive. Constantly check conveyor for proper water spray and tightness. Assure smooth delivery to destination 1. Properly tag and identify all materials in accordance with system in place. 2. Follow all safety rules and company rules and regulations. 3. Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition. 4. Report sub-standard quality to banbury operator and supervisor. 5. Understand and use proper method for waste oil handling. 6. Perform other duties as required or directed. **Qualifications** **QUALIFICATIONS:** 1. High School Diploma or GED Preferred 2. Previous manufacturing experience preferred 1. Must have excellent attendance 2. Maintain a safe work environment 3. Must be able to work overtime as required 4. Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner. 5. Ability to read and write.
