KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: + Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, function analysis and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills + Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality with minimal direction + Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills RESPONSIBILITIES: + Develop behavior plans and treatment plans for students as well as facilitate appropriate behavior strategies. + Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments using evidence-based tools. + Maintain compliance with relevant ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations (e.g., BACB Code of Ethics). + Provide ongoing support to direct support professionals, ABA implementers and other individuals in support roles for families. + Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools to conduct functional assessments and analysis when appropriate. + Create/maintain a data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for students; analyze data to implement best practices. + Provide appropriate service to each student on the caseload. + Establish open, frequent communication with parents and all related service staff. + Make recommendations for the time needed to implement behavioral goals. + Attend ARD meetings. + Participate in appropriate staff meetings as requested. + Establish and maintain a positive working atmosphere with staff in order to encourage a positive learning environment for students.
