What You'll Do

We are looking for an enthusiastic Analyst Intern with a passion for Building Materials topics to join our BCG Vantage Team within the Industrial Goods Practice Area.

 

As Analyst Intern Building Materials within BCG’s Industrial Goods Practice Area, you will experience an engaging learning journey, working together with our BCG Vantage analysts to support our key Building Materials clients, providing analysis and information along all industry topics as well as help develop BCG’s intellectual property.

This opportunity will enable you to understand how we tackle the industry’s challenges while creating a unique perspective of the Building Materials universe and trends. You will always have the support and guidance from senior analysts from the team, gaining industry expertise, learning how to develop knowledge assets, and how to grow and manage our internal knowledge base.

Likewise, we expect you to contribute with innovative ideas and fresh thinking on the topic.

 

YOU’RE GOOD AT

Thinking analytically: You’re an organized and strategic thinker who likes to learn how to deliver insights and analysis (e.g. Excel) based on facts and trends.Communicating with confidence and ease, good at summarizing key insights and messages: You will be a clear and confident communicator, able to deliver messages in a concise manner and you will learn to frame, structure, and develop intellectual property.Working accurately in a fast paced and problem-solving environment: You will have strong attention to detail by clarifying request objectives under direct supervision, discussing the most appropriate and timely approach and finding effective ways of solving problems.Working well independently and in a collaborative team environment being able to navigate complexity and ambiguity: You will develop skills for approaching all interactions with the highest level of quality and be able to ask questions to clarify and speak up your mind to ensure a smooth learning process. Who You'll Work With

Final year undergraduate student ideally at the intersection of business/economics and building materials relevant subjects (e.g. architecture, construction, civil engineering)Previous internships within the building materials related business and/or consulting projects would be idealProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and ExcelStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, Spanish and any other language will be valued
