BCP Manager (project-based)

*Note that this is a project-based position of 6 months.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conducting business impact analysis and risk assessment to identify the critical functions, processes, and resources of the organization, as well as the potential threats and vulnerabilities that could affect them. Developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity plans and strategies that ensure the continuity and resilience of the organization’s operations in the event of a disruption. Remote Work Continuity Strategy: Evaluate existing remote work policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement in terms of business continuity. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the resilience of remote work arrangements, including infrastructure, communication channels, and employee preparedness. Provide guidance and support to ensure that remote teams are equipped to effectively respond to and recover from disruptions. Providing training and awareness programs to the organization’s staff and stakeholders on the business continuity policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinating and facilitating business continuity exercises and tests to evaluate the effectiveness and readiness of the business continuity plans and capabilities. Monitoring and reporting on the performance and compliance of the business continuity program, and recommending improvements and corrective actions as needed.  Conducting regular drills to test emergency response plans and identify areas where improvements can be made. Developing and maintaining an effective disaster recovery plan that meets industry standards and can be executed quickly in the event of an emergency. Liaising and collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, service line leaders, IT, admin, HR, etc. to ensure alignment and coordination of the business continuity efforts.
