Job Summary: The BDA Installer will ensure seamless communication within buildings by installing, configuring, and maintaining BDA systems. This role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. The BDA Installer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to deliver reliable communication solutions.

 

Pay Range:  $21.28/hour to $39.20/hour

 

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and calibrate BDA systems according to specifications and project requirements. Ensure optimal signal coverage and amplification within buildings to comply with relevant regulations and codes. Proficiently handle BDA systems' cabling, wiring, and connections. Route cables efficiently and securely through buildings, avoiding interference and damage. Conduct comprehensive testing of BDA systems to verify proper functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues like signal disruptions, interference, or equipment malfunctions. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of BDA systems within the overall building infrastructure. Coordinate work schedules and communicate project progress effectively. Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines during installations, ensuring a secure and hazard-free work environment. Prioritize safety for yourself, team members, and building occupants. Perform routine maintenance tasks on BDA equipment, including inspections and upgrades. Keep track of inventory and ensure the availability of necessary tools and components. Stay informed about relevant industry standards, codes, BDA systems, and radio frequency communication regulations. Ensure installations meet all compliance requirements. Other duties as assigned.
