This is for a permanent full-time role.
Role Overview:
Providing 24-hour care, for Children/Young People (8-18 yrs) with emotional and behavioural difficulties, and/or learning disabilities.Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with various needs, including behavioural support, mental health, non-verbal communication, and learning difficulties.Providing advice, care, and stability for all young people, ensuring fair and equal treatment.Support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and other professionals.Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided.
Requirements:
Essential
Experience in monitoring service delivery and meeting short term objectivesChildren's Residential ExperienceFull UK Driving LicenceEnhanced Adult and Child workforce DBS (update service).Desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.QCF Level 3 in Children and Young PeopleEmpathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic IT skills (touchscreen devices, computers).First Aid CertificateFlexible, resilient and adaptable in a highly interchangeable environment
