**Req Number** 156820 Job Description PT 18.75 hrs 9am-5pm Coordinates intra-department and intra-hospital transfers, ensuring continuity of all necessary communication between departments. Job Responsibility + Assigns and facilitates patient bed assignments according to hospital patient aggregation. + Accepts phone calls from attending physician offices for direct admissions Reviews specific orders that may impact bed placement (i.e.: one-on-one constant observation, telemetry needs, pending lab specimens, admit orders for medicine teams). + Collects data for Zone alerts (admissions, discharges, bed demands/availability status of surge units, etc.). + Collates data from Teletracking to provide information needed for daily bed meeting template. + Escalates bed management problems to a registered nurse. + Performs related duties as required.
