**Job Summary**
The Behavior Based Safety Coordinator provides direction and support for maintenance activities across the Vistra fleet, with emphasis on frontline safety leadership. Specifically, the analyst will provide leadership and support of Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) across the Vistra fleet including engagement with all employees to leverage the value of the BBS process. The analyst will remain a BBS subject matter expert and will work to continuously improve the key elements of an effective BBS program including, but not limited to, improving methods for collecting and analyzing data, standardizing central and site-based steering teams and planning/execution of regional and fleet conferences.
**Job Description**
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Working closely with site management and supervision, provide BBS program implementation/oversight across the Vistra fleet
+ Support and direct BBS program activities for the Vistra fleet, including implementation and monitoring of BBS programs, processes and procedures
+ Effectively interface with Operations, Support and other Vistra organizations to ensure consistent BBS practices and sharing of knowledge to optimize efforts in providing effective solutions to frontline safety issues and concerns
+ Provide overall coordination of the annual Vistra BBS Conference
+ Provide training, with emphasis on observation quality, for employees that are new to the BBS process
+ Expand the use of BBS observation software to enable data analysis at the site and fleet level
+ Attend and actively participate in regional BBS meetings
+ Work closely with Corporate Safety and Generation leadership teams to ensure all responsibilities are met
+ Work location is flexible; direct report to Martin Lake Plant Manager but position is not required to office at Martin Lake Plant
**Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent education
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial environment highly preferred.
+ BBS processes subject matter expert, including overall program coordination
+ Works collaboratively across boundaries of business units, service providers, alliance partners, suppliers and industry groups in execution of responsibilities
+ Builds a positive work environment to assure leadership, work force diversity, technical excellence, innovation, high productivity, safe work practices and high morale
+ Proficiency in computer software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Proact
+ Occasional long, irregular hours
+ Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing and/or reaching to access job-related materials
+ Interstate, overnight travel as-required (up to 50%)
+ Organization/planning skills
Pay range between $33.65 - $57.16 hourly, depending upon skills/experience. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus of up to 8%, up to 4% profit sharing, up to 6% dollar-for-dollar match toward the employee's 401k, and medical/dental/vision benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.

+ Update and distribute reports regarding the health of the Vistra BBS program
