**Behavior Health Specialist Outpatient** **Location:** Buffalo General Medical Center **Location of Job** : US:NY:Buffalo **Work Type** : Full-Time **Shift:** **Shift 1** **Job Description** **Summary:** We are seeking a compassionate and experienced LCSW to join our Kaleida Health Weight Management Center team, specializing in weight-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessment, counseling, and therapy, with a focus on helping patients navigate the emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges associated with obesity, weight management, and bariatric surgery. **Education And Credentials** **Responsibilities:** Master's in social work or Mental Health Counseling required. Master Social Worker (LMSW) licensure required upon hire. **Experience** **Other information:** 3 years of experience in Working with patients on weight-related issues, preferably in a bariatric or healthcare setting preferred. Proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other relevant therapeutic approaches required. EMR Proficiency (training provided) required. Microsoft Office Proficiency required.
