The Behavioral Health Clinician interviews consumers, provides crisis intervention counseling and stabilization, completes on-site crisis assessments, develops least restrictive treatment plans, refers and links consumers to appropriate / available resources and answers a 24-hour hotline. Required to report to work in inclement weather. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary, including interpretation of assessments and other data, to provide the appropriate care, including age-related, needed by consumers served. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. May perform additional duties as requested by Director/Supervisor.
Legacy operates a crisis intervention program in Chester County, providing evaluations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis or posing a danger to self, others or property.
