Clinic Director – Behavioral Health Clinics 

Reports To: Director of Behavioral Health Programs 

Overview: 

The Clinic Director is responsible for managing and overseeing all clinical, administrative, and operational aspects of the United Helpers Behavioral Health Clinics. This position ensures regulatory compliance, supervises clinical staff, maintains high-quality service delivery, and promotes strong community partnerships. This is a hybrid position with both in-person and remote work opportunities and requires flexibility in scheduling based on program needs.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $67,000 to $75,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications: 

Master’s Degree in Social Work (LCSW required) OR a Master’s in Social Sciences/Human Services with 5+ years of experience in mental health counseling.  Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a clinical setting.  Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations (OMH, DSS, CPS, etc.) governing mental health services. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Clinical Oversight – Supervises and supports clinicians, ensures treatment plan compliance, facilitates case conferences, and monitors service delivery.  Administrative Leadership – Manages clinic operations, referrals, and regulatory compliance, and ensures adherence to documentation standards.  Staff Management – Oversees hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development for clinical staff.  Client Care & Compliance – Maintains a therapy caseload, models best practices, and ensures adherence to person-centered treatment planning.  Community & Agency Collaboration – Develops positive relationships with external agencies, responds to crisis situations, and participates in leadership team initiatives.  Quality Assurance & Safety – Ensures audits, compliance inspections, and agency goals are met while upholding best practices and safety standards.
