We are growing! Gundersen Health System is seeking a licensed masters level therapist to join our exceptional and supportive Integrated Care Team as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) in one of our regional Primary Care Clinics (Prairie du Chien WI or Waukon & Decorah IA).
Gundersen’s BHCs collaborate with the medical care team to recognize and treat the behavioral health and biopsychosocial wellbeing of Gundersen patients. BHCs assess and diagnose mental health concerns; provide evidence-based interventions; consult with medical staff to develop integrated treatment; and team with patients to build a model of care that meets their needs. BHCs develop lasting relationships with patients, mirroring the type of care they receive in their medical home. Our Integrated Care mission statement is: “The right care, in the right place, at the right time.”
