The Contract Implementation Specialist role will be an essential element of the network contracting process by ensuring all contracts are set up properly prior to signatures being attained for final contract execution.
If you reside in the Central region of the U.S. (AL, AR, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MO, MS, NC NE, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA) you will enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform first level quality audits on facility contracts based on business needs Submit Data Maintenance Request form for all audited facility contracts to ensure accurate system configuration load Serve as the liaison between the facility data management team and the network contracting team to solve complex problems that may arise for audited contracts Proactively identify contract issues by lines of business (i.e., Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial products) prior to contract signature execution Maintain checks and balances to ensure contracts are not missing information (i.e., roster, fee schedules, networks, etc.) Provide input and valuable feedback on audit results; feel empowered to recommend process improvements Demonstrate a customer service mindset Ability to multitask and prioritize job assignments Contribute to a team environment that is compassionate, supportive, inclusive and goal driven Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in medical or behavioral health services 2+ years of experience in Medicaid, Medicare or Commercial products 2+ years of experience with various reimbursement methodologies 2+ years of experience in network management support role 2+ years of experience in healthcare contracts Intermediate level with Microsoft 365 Products Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritization skills *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
