EmPATH is a dedicated healing environment separate from the emergency department, staffed with a multidisciplinary psychiatric team providing Emergency, Psychiatric, Assessment, Treatment, and Healing to those initially presenting to emergency rooms with mental health urgencies.  

 

Schedule

Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks 12-hour overnight shift | 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.  Every third weekend | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | Holiday rotation St. Cloud Hospital | Behavioral Health Observation | EmPATH Unit

 

Pay and Benefits

Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.33 per hour Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour Master’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour Pay range: $40.33 - $60.50 per hour Earn extra pay for working evening, night, and weekend shifts. Qualifications

Graduate from a nursing program required; Bachelors or Masters in Nursing preferred.  A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing must be obtained within three years of hire. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required. 4 years minimum experience as a psychiatric or chemical dependency registered nurse. Knowledge of at least the following areas: abuse issues, chemical dependency, adult/adolescent/child clinical assessments.  Knowledge of crisis theory and intervention, psychiatric diagnosis, psychotropic medications, including use and side effects and knowledge of community resources and intervention. American Nurses Association (ANA) Psychiatric – Mental Health Certification preferred. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) initial and on-going training required and provided.
