Behavioral Health RN Location: Albuquerque, NM, United States Healthcare Provider Type : Nursing START YOUR APPLICATION (https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?req\_id=3446577&source=3446577-CJB-0) Matrix Providers is hiring a Registered Nurse- Behavioral Health to provide full-time care to the U.S. military and their families at Kirtland Air Force Base located in Albuquerque, NM. + Employment Status: Full-time + Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly. + Schedule: Monday - Friday. Eight (8) hour shifts or forty (40) hours per week, between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. + Benefits: Competitive financial package with a comprehensive insurance package including health, dental, vision, and life coverage. + Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) + Paid Holidays (Outlined in Handbook) + 401(k) Plan Requirements: The Registered Nurse (RN) -Behavioral Health must have and meet the following: + Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent RN degree + Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLNAC + Experience: At least 36 months of total nursing experience as an RN in a direct patient care clinical setting. Experience providing services in psychiatric nursing or behavioral health and wellness counseling for 24 recent consecutive months + Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or the Red Cross. Web-based classes do not meet these standards. + Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse from any U.S. state/territory. + Additionally, certified/certified eligible by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric and Mental health Nurse with 2 years of full-time experience in mental health. Job Summary: + Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness + Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice by all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). + Perform physical exams and health histories. + Provide health promotions, counseling, and education. + Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions. + Direct and supervise the care provided by other healthcare professionals. + Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel. + Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergencies. + Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people to inform the healthcare team of plans/actions for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization. + Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate. + Perform nursing services as identified in the official Task Order. + Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes. #IND123 START YOUR APPLICATION (https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?req\_id=3446577&source=3446577-CJB-0)
