Fairfax Hospital Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be full-time night shift (3 x 12hour shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am).

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Job Responsibilities:

Facilitates the safety event debrief and participates in safety meetings and workplace violence committee meetings. Disseminates actionable safety data for various internal audiences that quickly and effectively direct further improvement efforts and patient care. Responds to special requests as appropriate. Educates, trains, and mentors others on aspects of the incident safety reporting system. Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Assumes responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.

Work schedule: (3 x 12 hour shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am) Education: High School diploma or equivalent  Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start from the American Heart Association- Upon Start. Crisis Prevention Institute Within 3 Months
