Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Night Shift, Monday – Friday with every other weekend included.

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Job Responsibilities:

•    Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern. 
•    Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee. Educates, trains, and mentors      Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting. 
•    Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization.
•    Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
 

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Additional Requirements:

Work Schedule: Night Shift: Monday-Friday, Every Other Weekend Candidate will be orienting at Mt. Vernon hospital  Education: High School diploma or equivalent Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association upon start. Crisis Prevention Institute Certification within 3 months Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience
