Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:Encourage clients to adhere to program expectations and rulesParticipate in treatment teams and document client progressFacilitate group sessions and educational programsProvide transportation and support daily activities as neededMaintain a safe and clean environment, report maintenance issues, and adhere to program policies and proceduresResidential Facility:Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patientsMonitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and medication administrationAssist with personal care (e.g. grooming, bathing, dressing) as neededEnsure client safety and supervision, including regular checksFacilitate client participation in program activities and services
Residential Care Facility (RCF):Assist with personal care (e.g. grooming, bathing, dressing) as neededMonitor vital signs and medication administrationEnsure client safety and supervision, including regular checksFacilitate client participation in program activities and servicesAssist with admission and discharge processes
Withdrawal Management:Monitor clients for signs and symptoms of withdrawalEnsure safe and effective management of withdrawal symptomsAdminister medication as prescribed and monitor effectsProvide support and encouragement throughout the withdrawal processEducation and/or Experience Qualifications:High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years responsible employmentExperience in Human Services or related field preferredRequired License/Certification:Within the first ninety (90) days in position (for Residential Care Facility): Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and be Insulin CertifiedKeywords: Behavioral Health Technician, Residential Facility, Withdrawal Management, Medication Administration, Behavioral Management, Treatment Planning, Group Facilitation, Transportation, Daily Activities, Safe Environment.
