Pyramid Healthcare in Newport News is seeking experienced Behavioral Health Technicians to join our exceptional team. We are currently hiring for our Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM) with a starting wage of $14.00 USD per hour. We also offer shift differentials on specific days and hours. Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

As a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician, you will work three shifts per week and be eligible for our comprehensive Health, Vision, and Dental plans, along with other total rewards. Pyramid at Newport News is an Inpatient Residential treatment center for adults with Substance Use Disorders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play an integral role in our daily operations and the well-being of our clients. Your duties will include:

Assisting with the intake process for new clients Communicating with staff through verbal and written logs Listening to clients regarding all areas of treatment Maintaining a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients, including crisis intervention Coordinating activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings Conducting mandatory bed checks and completing shift reports Attending shift change, team meetings, and company meetings Ensuring daily client schedules are followed Assisting with client interventions Following treatment plan objectives Monitoring the medication line Transporting clients to meetings and recreational activities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license Employee Testimonials
