As a Behavioral Health Technician I in our Adult Housing department, you'll be responsible for providing direct and supportive care to clients, including general oversight of day-to-day activities, health monitoring, and crisis intervention. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients. The Behavioral Health Technician I position offers…

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide direct and supportive care to clients, including general oversight of day-to-day activities, health monitoring, and crisis intervention.
· Facilitate group education and structured activities, and transport clients as needed.
· Monitor client behavior and provide safe, therapeutic, and supportive environments.
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation and participate in required meetings and training sessions.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment
· Experience in Human Services or related field preferred
· Bachelor’s Degree, OR MAADC I or II (for St. Louis County programs)
Additional Qualifications:
· Successful completion of background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
· Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
· First Aid certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date.
· CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date.
Physical Requirements:
· Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
· Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
· Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
