As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients while they navigate their journey towards recovery. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our team of professionals to provide individualized care and support to each client, helping them develop the tools and strategies they need to achieve long-term success.

Responsibilities:

Monitor client activities and document observations to inform therapeutic interventionsParticipate in admissions and orientations, conduct vital sign checks, and facilitate group therapy sessionsProvide transportation and assistance with daily living tasks as neededMaintain accurate records and reports, including documentation of client progress and behaviorCollaborate with the treatment team to identify client strengths, needs, and goalsEnsure all program expectations and rules are followed, and report any exceptions to your supervisorFacilitate educational and recreational activities to promote client engagement and well-beingAdhere to all medication policies and work with trained staff to ensure proper administrationScreen and monitor detoxification clients to ensure their safety and recovery needs are being metAttend staff meetings, training sessions, and other events as requested by your supervisorsDemonstrate a commitment to the company's mission and goals

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of responsible employment historyKnowledge of confidentiality laws governing substance use and mental health disorder treatmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to establish rapport with clients and collaborate with colleaguesValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (for positions requiring transportation)First Aid and CPR certification (within three months of hire)Completion of background check, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect registry checkSuccessful completion of New Hire Orientation and all mandatory trainings within specified time frames
