**UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a Full-time Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at Frostburg State University!** Our unique office serves as the primary source of outpatient behavioral health services for the undergraduate and graduate students of Frostburg State University. Duties will focus on providing short-term individual and group therapy, crisis support, and case management. In addition to providing clinical care, our staff also focus on prevention and early intervention through providing psychoeducational presentations on campus. Counselors with specialized skills and experience such as substance use, crisis, and multicultural counseling are encouraged to apply. This position works primarily dayshift hours Monday - Friday. Crisis phone coverage rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays required. We offer weekly supervision by an approved licensed supervisor and CEU opportunities! Expected Duties and Responsibilities + Outreach: ~5 outreaches per semester, comp time offered when conducted outside of regular business hours + Intakes: 4-6 per week, based on current case load + Crisis hours: 4 hours per week, plus rotation of after hours phone + Weekly Clinical Hours: ~27 during the semester, 10-15 over the breaks + 5 hours a week of support/prep admin time per week Whether you’re a recent graduate or an experienced therapist, we offer a career ladder to continue to grow yourself! (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in the practicing state's code) + One year of clinical experience preferred. + Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of the current version of the DSM preferred. + Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions is preferred. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** + Per Maryland state regulations, if the candidate has a Master's in Psychology, they must hold an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) or an LGPS (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor).
