Belmont - Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Nights Full Time
CRMC Belmont- 3 Central Our combined multi-level of care unit is a 36-bed unit that includes 6-bed high-acuity patients to be cared for in the same unit without having to move the patient between departments. This unit is at our NEW Belmont, NC location and is unique as they care for critical, intermediate, and medical-surgical patients. The ideal candidate will have intermediate or ICU experience and enjoy compassionate, patient-centric care. Patient ratios: High Acuity 1 RN: 1-2 patients, Intermediate/Med-surg, 1: 3-4 patients We provide excellent orientation with the assistance of our clinical education team with a focus on ACLS, Basic Arrhythmias, Intermediate and Med-Surg ICU core training, Critical Drips, and more. ***This position is intended for CRMC-Belmont. If you are a current employee, you will remain in your current position until confirmed by the manager of an appropriate date to allow for adequate orientation/training. Sign-on Bonus up to $13,000 based on experience! Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities: + To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital + Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care + Performs all the activities in accordance with approved policies and guides + Supervises and delegates to ancillary personnel Required Skills & Qualifications: + Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license) + BSN preferred + Professional nursing certification preferred + Recent acute care experience within past 3 years preferred + Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements. + Current technical certificates such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) as required by specialty area.
