Below Wing Customer Service Agent - MXP
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) As a BW Customer Service Agent, you will be central in demonstrating Delta’s commitment to our customers by making their travel experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. Summary of responsibilities: + Oversees and coordinates operational performance, including safety, on-time departure (D0), security and customer service delivery. + Needs to have strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills and be able to multi-task and to focus on different priorities in different operational areas at the same time. + Promotes team building with business partners and vendor workforce and leadership. + Needs to observe BW operation on ramp handling, cargo handling, safety and security procedures in order to be compliant in all aspects and the Business Partners are following the DL requirements. + Participates with DL leaders in Incident Analysis reports, Injury Prevention Group sessions and applicable station safety meetings. + Ensures – as per DL leadership advice - adherence to the station Safety Business Plan in addition to assuring compliance to our divisional Performance and Safety standards. + Responsible and accountable for the timely completion and delivery of performance appraisals, quality assurance observations, performance discussions, coaching and administrative action, while being a strong advocate of employee recognition, both DELTA and Vendors + Continued training and development + Displays a positive image of Delta. + Needs to be able to activate emergency response procedures. + Efficiently coordinates with internal resources while working under pressure and time constraints to dispatch flights on time. + Performs a variety of duties according to the functional work area assignment; however, agents may be cross-utilized and be required to perform all functions. Specific functions, tasks, and departments may vary or be added depending upon the location and operational requirements. + Subject to rotating shifts and off days. + May require outside work. + Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, and makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Must be fluent in English and Italian in both spoken and written communication. + Experience and/or training in ramp handling, safety and security is preferred. + Must have proper work documents to work/reside in Italy at the time of applying. Delta will not sponsor candidates for this role. + Must be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. + Must have the ability to coach and deliver feedback for developmental purposes to peers and/or vendors. + Must be approachable, have interpersonal skills that foster trust and respect, and be able to effectively manage conflict and problem solve. + Should exhibit strong organizational skills. + Must be able to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints + Employee must be able to type a minimum of 30 wpm to effectively use the agent's computer set. + If currently employed by Delta, must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
