**Bench Grinder** Job Description Adecco is currently looking for Bench Grinders in the Lansing area. This position requires an up-to-date resume to be considered. Our client is looking for candidates with a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work off written instructions independently, and keep proper documentation. You will be using calibrated precision measuring devices, and a variety of hand and power tools. Required: · Verifiable use of hand, and power tool. Experience using a drill press, bandsaw, bench grinder, and belt sanders for the fabrication of metal. · Solid job history documented on your resume to include more than 1 year experience at your previous or recent employer. · Capable of reading and understanding written instructions, procedures, safety rules and operating instructions. · Ability to perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Preferred: · Previous manufacturing experience preferred. · Ability to read blueprints. Education Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required. Pay: $17.00 Hourly (plus applicable shift premium) Shift: 1st 2nd and 3rd shift openings available 1st Shift – 7:00am to 3:00pm 2nd Shift (12% Shift Premium) - 3:00pm to 11:00pm 3rd Shift (15% Shift Premium) - 11:00pm to 7:00am **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
