Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful person to help out the Technical Department’s dynamic team at our Vancouver branch. As a Bench Service Technician, you will have to make the necessary repairs on a variety of dental appliances and other related products. You will have to learn and follow the manufacturers' repair instructions.

Essential FunctionsObtain the necessary approvals from the customer by submitting a repair cost assessment.Repair, gauge, modify and update defective equipment in accordance with manufacturer's technical specifications.Meet deadlines according to established standards.Maintain accurate records of repairs and testing results.Manage loaner fleet (repair and availability).Have a sound understanding of equipment operation to be able to provide the necessary support to customers on usage and maintenance.Be a reference source for other technicians.Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Electronics diploma or any other relevant experience.Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently2-3 years of repair work experience.Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and excellent decision-making abilities.Excellent computer skills.Knowledge of the dental or medical industry is an asset.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
