Benefits & Perks:Immediate temporary opportunity as a Claims Assistant.Potential to extend and / or become temporary to hire.Convenient location near downtown with free parking.Monday to Friday onsite 830 am to 430 pm.Responsibilities:Provide members and clients with professional and courteous service.Adjudicate and process health & dental claims for assigned plans.Understand and apply the terms of benefit plans.Process member termination/eligibility on the dental plan.Process incoming/outgoing / returned mail, faxes and courier deliveries.Enter registration forms and member information into the Dental Plan.Screen sick day forms and prepare/mail out sick day cheques.Prepare supply order.Other administrative duties as assigned.Qualifications:Two plus years of Claims Administration experience.Post-secondary education is an asset.Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work as a team player.
