**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for an experienced **Benefits Administrator** to join our **Human Resources Shared Services Team** in our **Benefits Department** in **Johannesburg, South Africa.**
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways** :
+ Resolving Inquiries: You'll address and resolve benefits-related questions and issues for plan participants, ensuring they receive accurate and timely assistance.
+ Supporting Benefits Administration: By helping administer various employee benefits programs, you'll ensure these programs run smoothly and comply with plan designs and government regulations.
+ Ensuring Compliance: Your work will contribute to the organization's adherence to both internal policies and external legal requirements, maintaining a high standard of compliance.
+ Problem Resolution: You'll investigate and resolve issues related to standard benefits processes, providing solutions or escalating them for further review when necessary.
+ Generating Reports: By creating internal and external reports for benefit program administration, you'll support necessary legislative filings and keep accurate records.
+ Maintaining Records: You'll keep benefit records up-to-date and prepare necessary documents for implementing benefit coverage, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.
+ Training Support: Preparing materials for training sessions, you'll help educate employees and Line Human Resources on benefits processes and policies.
+ Customer Service Excellence: Providing superior customer service, you'll respond courteously, accurately, and promptly to benefit-related questions and requests, acting as a liaison between external benefits suppliers, employee groups, and Line Human Resources.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Multinational Experience: The ability to effectively support and manage benefits administration across multiple countries, including RSA, Botswana, Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Morocco, Kazakhstan, and the Middle East.
+ Strong Benefits Administration: Onboarding and offboarding of employees on relevant benefits plans, proficiency in handling benefits payments administration, monthly payroll checking and reconciliation, generating purchase orders, and coordinating census management for benefits renewals and policies.
+ Collaboration and Coordination: Strong skills in assisting the Senior Benefits Specialist with strategy delivery, managing audit requirements, and coordinating wellness days across Africa and the Middle East.
+ Human Resources Proficiency: A solid understanding of compensation and benefits administration, human resources business process execution, and consulting to ensure compliance, efficiency, and positive business outcomes.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education/ Experience**
+ Minimum 2 years benefits administration experience required
+ Thorough knowledge of employee benefits administration through education, training or on-the-job experience.
+ High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
