Log back in Benefits Analyst Posting Number 2024-14064 Posted Date 3 weeks ago(10/16/2024 11:46 AM) Location : Location US-NY-New York Hybrid Remote Work Classification Hybrid: 60% to 80% Onsite Department Retirement Benefits School/Division Human Resources (WS1538) Compensation Grade Band 52 Union N/A FT/PT Full-Time Category Human Resources Position Summary The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, administering, and supporting the university's employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave policies. This position ensures that the university’s benefit offerings remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with institutional goals while providing excellent service to employees. The Benefits Analyst will work closely with HR leadership and staff to manage benefits programs and provide guidance on benefits-related issues. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Required Experience:
3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
1+ years benefits administration experience in a university or non-profit environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Working knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits. Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits management software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of Workday
Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $76,500.00 to USD $93,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
