Your Role
In this role as the Benefits Analyst, you’ll serve as a key resource for all benefits-related matters supporting the Global Benefits function at Aptiv. You’ll support the design, administration, and delivery of all benefit programs to ensure competitive positioning in order to attract and retain top talent. In addition,
Assist with benefits administration (Health and Welfare and Retirement plans) in conjunction with third-party administrators, vendors and internal employee service groups.Support benefit design changes (e.g. medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) plan, etc.) to ensure effective and efficient benefit programs and benefits managementCreate job-aids for various Benefits processes.Develop a strong understanding of regulatory environment and to support changes to benefit plans/programs to ensure complianceLeverage external resources when required to ensure regulatory compliance related to benefit plans (ACA, ERISA, FMLA, OSHA, etc.)Support internal controls and audit functionality and ensure that vendors also utilize adequate internal controls and monitoring on an on-going basisAssist with leave of absence programs and complianceAssist vendors in creating and maintaining accurate, user-friendly benefits content on employee websites, as well as on-line benefit platform.Support special benefits projects related to annual enrolment and year-end testing including annual audits as well as vendor searches/implementations and benefit design reviewsProvide a high-level of service to employees and HR business partners around benefit matters and escalated issuesVisa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
Your Background / Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics.2-5 years of effective administration of employee benefit plans, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required. Local residency with ability to work on sitePreferred Qualifications:
Experience and ability to interact with team membersExperience effectively analyzing complex sets of dataWorkday reporting experience is an advantageCharacteristics:
