Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Administers the Company employee benefit programs by acting as the point of contact for employees regarding their benefits, including processing enrollments, responding to benefit-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Administers leaves of absence, short-term disability, FMLA, and other Company leave programs. Maintains a high level of knowledge of human resources, regulations, benefits; perform all responsibilities independently; support the HR group to serve all Eurofins US employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews and processes benefit enrollments, deductions, qualifying life events, and other coverage information timely and accuratelyAdministers all leave programs, including family and medical leave of absence, short-term disability, paid state leaves, military leaves, parental leave, and other Company-sponsored programsResponds to benefit questions via Oracle tickets, emails and phone callsManages third-party leave vendor to ensure claims are being processed timely and accurately. Ensures discrepancies/escalations are resolved timelyCollaborates with the Payroll Department and third-party vendor to ensure employees are paid accurately while on a leave of absenceCommunicates with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or modified work schedulesEnsures employee benefits are terminated in accordance with Company policies and COBRA is issued as requiredManages the Company Adoption Assistance ProgramAssists with the benefit onboarding process for new hires, answers benefit questions, and performs research as neededSupports annual open enrollment with system configuration and testing, auditing records, preparing and distributing communication materials, and providing enrollment guidance to employeesAssists with administration tasks related to the integration of new companiesRecommends new or improved systems and benefit programsPerforms all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulationsDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityPerforms other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the Benefits DepartmentQualificationsBachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredMinimum 1 year(s) of Benefits and/or Leave Administration experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional preferences:
