Benefits Operations Specialist

If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** The Benefits Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing employee benefits, ensuring seamless operations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of benefits administration and proficiency in Workday. Key Responsibilities: ● Responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end benefits administration process. ● Minimum 8 years of experience in end-to-end benefits administration, with a strong understanding of various benefit plans (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, etc..). ● Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding benefits programs and processes. ● Hands-on experience with Workday to manage benefits data, troubleshoot issues, and enhance reporting capabilities. ● Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction within benefits operations. ● Collaborate with external benefits vendors to ensure effective service delivery and resolve any arising issues. ● Generate reports and analyze benefits data to provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning. ● Assist in the development and communication of benefits policies and programs, ensuring compliance with industry trends and regulations. ● Work closely with the HR team, payroll, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of benefits information and processes. ● Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding employee benefits programs, regulations, and compliance requirements. ● Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to the overall goals of the HR department. **Required technical and professional expertise** ● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. ● 8+ years of experience in benefits administration ● Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and relevant regulations. ● Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS platforms. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ● Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
