About the role

Our Total Rewards Services team, composed of 9 people, is integrated in the GBS Human Resources department and focuses on providing Total Rewards Services and delivering the operations and employee support on: Global Mobility, Fleet, Benefits and other Total rewards services worldwide. The team works in collaboration with the HR Center of Expertise (CoE) which defines the Strategy and Policies for the Solvay Group, and with other HR Services teams (e.g. Payroll and People Services & Data).

As a Benefits Operations Specialist, you will work on delivering benefits activities for several countries, propose improvement ideas for the processes and deliver solutions to the HR requests around benefits to support employees, managers and the HR family. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the high level benefits initiatives and have a positive impact on the business and employee experience.

You will be accountable for:

Improving Benefits and other HR processes

Analyze and solve issues

Answering employee questions on Benefits matters and providing support

Ensuring proper inclusion and exclusion of employees in Benefit programs

Providing instructions and/or integration with Payroll

Manage invoice reconciliation with the Benefits vendors

Contribute to compliance related activities such as audits, etc.

Update databases with information provided by internal customers.

Check integrity/validity of data and authorization of information providers.

Follow up, collaborate and communicate with HR peers and stakeholders to ensure employee’s support and satisfaction

Streamline these activities - identifying opportunities for automation and harmonization, driving continuous improvement initiatives

Monitor efficiency of the activities through clear SLAs and KPIs to measure success and further improvement opportunities

Support other Total rewards services initiatives.

About you

Bachelor education degree in Human resources or Business Administration or equivalent.

Relevant work experience in HR administration with experience managing benefits in multiple geographies

Relevant work experience working in an HR administration environment would be a plus.

Competencies:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

Fluent in English

Additional language would be a plus: amongst Chinese, South Korean, Japanese (not a requirement)

Good analytical skills - Ability to data sets and comfortable with Excel

Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday…)

About the pay and benefits

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Thailand base pay reasonably expected for this role is 58,000 to 80,000 THB, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
