Benefits Specialist

The Benefits Specialist supports the delivery of benefits to employees and future employees of the organization. This role processes all enrollment & administration associated with benefit plans including health, dental, life, optical and all voluntary programs. This role also facilitates employees with the defined contribution administrator.  This position is the primary contact for benefit related questions from employees and managers. 

Job Requirements:

Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources required.  Experience with benefits preferred.  

Solid knowledge of Lawson and other HRIS systems. Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs. Must have a demonstrated understanding of employee benefit plans and regulations. Strong communication skills in order to assist employee’s understanding of benefit offerings.
