As a Benefits Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our employee experience, supporting a wide range of programs such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and more. Key Responsibilities:
Administer health & welfare, retirement, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, and workers' compensation programs.Ensure accurate benefits enrollments in HRIS and provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.Assist with new-hire orientations and provide benefits enrollment materials.Process documentation through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.Assist with COBRA processes, annual audits, and compliance reporting.Address benefits inquiries from employees and managers, offering guidance on plan provisions, enrollment, status changes, and general questions.Support 401(k) inquiries, including enrollments and contributions, and manage annual catch-up contributions.Administer the tuition reimbursement program and assist with the open enrollment process.Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience and/or certifications (SHRM-CP is a plus).Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR and/or benefits administration.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ADP, Salesforce, and other HRIS systems.In-depth knowledge of SCA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, COBRA, and other relevant laws.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Core Skills & Requirements:
