About the Role
The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for administering HARMAN’s US LOA and Time Off, US Retirement, and Global Wellbeing programs. The Benefits Specialist will handle the day-to-day processing of the programs, assist employees with escalated inquires and focus on compliance and regulatory items including Plan testing & audits, 5500 filing and annual disclosures. The Benefits Specialist will also support the department with review and recommendation of new programs, review of employee communications, develop and roll out employee webinars/trainings, participate/contribute to the annual strategy of each program and develop and conduct the monthly Wellbeing Champion meetings.
What You Will Do
What You Need
BA/BS degree required.5-6 years benefit administration experience, including Leave Management, Retirement and Well-being.Must have knowledge of federal and state laws governing benefits, including leave of absence, HIPAA, ERISA, Health Care Reform and Retirement Plans.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex topics and interact with all levels of management and associates, including HR colleagues, Sr. Executives and Business leaders.Able to take initiative, effective at prioritizing multiple projects, comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Experience leading, measuring and managing vendor relationships.MS Excel, Word, PowerPointWhat is Nice to Have
CBP or CEBS preferred.Preferred experience with Workday.Experience in writing policies and procedure manuals.What Makes You Eligible

Salary Ranges:
